Lemon myrtle, known as backhousia citriodora, has some of the highest concentrations of citral – the molecule responsible for giving lemons their characteristic lemony aroma. Delicious served hot or cold, and naturally caffeine free!
Preparation: Bring freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 teaspoon of lemon myrtle for each cup into the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Steep for 5-6 minutes before drinking!
